A bit about me

My knowledge and understanding of

the body started way, way back, when I trained as a ballet dancer.

I got a really bad back injury when I was 17 years old which forced me to move into other fitness fields. I taught everything, from dance, spinning, and step, to body conditioning and low impact aerobics, but  nothing was improving my back, and often making it worse.

In my quest for an effective, whole-body regime, I had, in the past, dismissed Pilates as a boring and insipid exercise. However, that all changed when I became inspired by the story of Joe Pilates and the realization that I could tailor it to my own needs and unique approach. I began teaching a form of Pilates inspired by my knowledge of injuries, dance and other teaching experiences. It worked. After over 15 years my back was finally cured.

This has become a real passion of mine. It is an amazing feeling to be able to see the changes in peoples bodies and the joy it brings them.
